Our Story

For over 80 years, Bergin’s Chocolates has been a family run business determined to provide the finest, freshest, best quality chocolates in the area. Third generation candymakers are using the original recipes to create truly delicious old time butter creams, caramels and other favorites, as well as chocolate covered pretzels, truffles and other favorites. Personalized boxes are available for weddings, parties, and other occasions as well as corporate gifting.

How We Got Started

Looking for a way to earn extra money during the depression, Mr. and Mrs. Bergin started making candy in their kitchen using the skills Mr. Bergin had learned as a result of working in a Philadelphia candy shop as a teenager.
